OBEY MASKS / ANOTHER STEP TOWARDS SOLIDARITY

For each mask sold, we will donate the equivalent value to the Italian Red Cross. It is no longer clear what phase "Coronavirus crisis" we have reached. Phase 2-bis, phase-3… it doesn't matter, the fact remains that social distancing and protections will be maintained for an indefinite time. The protection par excellence is becoming the mask, which as we can easily see around has gone from being a tool used only by health workers to a real accessory, we would even dare to say for many a fashion accessory. We do not know whether to think if this is a nice thing or if a little, as always, they have all worked hard to create a little business on it. The fact is that in times of economic crisis like this at some point you can't blame anyone and even a little business is welcome.

In addition to cutting / sewing artisans, many brands in the fashion and streetwear world have also worked hard and have set up productions of masks that are sometimes really cool.

Obey's masks came to us, we wanted them a lot. We wanted them a lot because, in addition to being very beautiful in their simplicity and sobriety, they are in perfect Obey style and in perfect harmony with the message that Shepard Fairey has continued to launch since the beginning of his artistic career. A message of solidarity and peace.

Some of us can afford to buy them, others simply don't have the resources to do so - be it a question of cost or scarcity. For this reason we have found a solution that would allow us to sell masks and donate them to those who do not have them. For each mask sold, we donate two. We have tried to keep the price low and to build a program that we can carry on for a long time. We appreciate all the support and trust you have given Obey over the years. This is the project born from Obey. We as Blakshop (exclusive and official importer of Obey) based in Italy, where the bureaucratic procedures are different, have decided to donate the proceeds from the sale of each Obey mask to the Italian Red Cross.
