Rethinking fashion: we want to restore respect, trust and transparency to the world of the fashion industry. We believe that a brand must be based on harmonious work that enhances transparency and reflects its values throughout the production line.
One of the latest brands on which our attention has fallen is Spanish, precisely from Barcelona. We were immediately intrigued by its name: Brava Fabrics. How nice to be called Brava! It is beautiful, but certainly challenging. I mean, if your name is Brava and you're not actually good it starts to be a problem. And it is precisely for this reason that we want to present this brand that started from the premise of being good at building its identity and developing its collections.
“Welcome to a sustainable lifestyle: modern, aware, fair. We believe in a sustainable future where we must take responsibility for our environment. For us, fashion goes beyond the simple succession of seasonal garments. We do not pursue the latest trends, instead we try to create timeless garments made to last and last over time. We are always looking for high quality sustainable materials and pay particular attention to the interaction with people, animals and the environment throughout the production line. This is our contribution to a better world! "
In a continuous search for new patterns, Brava through creativity explores, guided by visual culture, all the beauties of which the world is full. It draws inspiration from all those wonderful stories that come before us every day to continually create unique garments, full of details and each with its own story to tell, be it music, travel or culture. Each piece reflects a small detail of the greatest passions that fill people's lives.
The most interesting thing is that Brava Fabrics does all this through the lens of sustainability, committing itself to guaranteeing fairness and transparency throughout the supply chain. The ateliers are in fact in Spain and Portugal, which inevitably makes it easier and less expensive to collaborate with tailors and producers, being able to get to know them all personally and connecting with them on a regular basis. Nonetheless, working conditions are guaranteed both in terms of hours and salaries, even for workers in production companies.
The materials used are all 100% Eco-Friendly, as Brava considers that in this historical moment the commitment made with the environment is not an option, but an obligation. For this reason the products are all in certified organic cotton, sustainable viscose, mulesing free merino wool, recycled polyester.
These days emphasizing these aspects should not and cannot be seen as a virtuosity, but it must begin to be the working basis for all fashion brands. You just have to open the wardrobe that contains all the Brava garments starting from the shirts, the real core business, with their fun and inspiring all-over-printed patterns!
